The Cutting Edge has worked closed with Baseline over the last several years in the testing and development of this product, and we have found this system to be a great asset in water conservation. Results have shown this system to reduce water usage while also promoting a healthier landscape.
Simple to install, the Watertec
connects to your existing
controller and a sensor is
buried within the root zone
of your turf. During installation,
the sensor is saturated with
water and then undergoes a
24 hour auto-calibration cycle.
During this time, the sensor measures the rate at which the soil becomes dry. This information is then used to automatically adjust your controller to water more or less frequently based on observed soil moisture content. The system will automatically adjust the watering cycle, eliminating unnecessary watering.

The innovative design of the MP Rotator sprinkler head solves two of the most frustrating problems faced with traditional products - coverage and run-off.
The MP Rotator head works by varying the distance of the spray as well as rotating, resulting in unmatched coverage. The multi-trajectory rotating water stream, coupled with the availability of both arc and radius adjustments virtually eliminates dry spots. Additionally, the MP has a significantly lower water application rate (rate at which the water comes out of the head), reducing and often completely eliminating run-off.
